This university activate since 1965. Dibrugarh University was under Dibrugarh University Act, 1965. University was performing by the Assam Legislative Assembly. This is well known university but it working with limited residential amenities.
This university is located at Rajabheta. University is near five kilometers to the South of the premier town of Dibrugarh.
